A streamlined BigCommerce experience
A fully custom web platform built for accessibility
We were initially approached to revamp an existing Wix website that was no longer fit for purpose. The original platform suffered from an outdated layout, structure and a restrictive backend that made simple content updates a slow and frustrating process for internal teams.
To guarantee complete flexibility and long-term sustainability, we developed a bespoke WordPress child theme built around the native block editor (Gutenberg). This approach provided total control over the code base, ensuring the site was light, fast and entirely unencumbered by bloated third-party page builders.
User experience was placed at the centre of the new website architecture. We completely overhauled the site’s information layout, introducing a clear visual hierarchy and a simple to use navigation system designed to guide visitors directly to key details
By leveraging custom Gutenberg blocks, we created a modular backend that mirrors the frontend design precisely.
Warrington Deaf Centre now benefits from a future-proof digital asset that combines effortless information accessibility with streamlined backend administration, establishing a strong, scalable foundation for all future digital growth.
